Six Months

Six Months!

Carter remains super easy going and smiley which makes each day wonderful; especially when his two and half year old sister is pushing every envelope right now.  He is a mover and a shaker these days.  Constantly up on his hands and knees/feet, his preferred method of movement is scooting backwards, and on our new wood floors he can cover quite a bit of ground in a short time.  And while he enjoys moving a ton, he usually just ends up half way under a piece of furniture or in a corner...  He is now officially able to sit unassisted.  But is a little like a broken Weeble - he wobbles and he does fall down.

Carter is doing well at daycare and seems to be enjoying Ms. Colleen and the other kiddos.  He takes two naps a day, both about one to one and a half hours long.  He now eats a variety of baby foods and rice cereal at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and still nurses or takes a bottle at meals and bedtime.  We are working on sleeping through the night...hopefully soon.

His six month check up is next week so we will see how big this boy really is then.  Huge is my estimate.

Carter loves Raf (his giraffe lovie), being outside, scooting around, carrots, nursing, watching Lily, his "Stein," putting everything in his mouth, drooling

Carter does not love being stuck in a corner on his tummy, waiting for food in his high chair, or long photo shoots (as evident by the last photo below)

How you doin'?

Chubbers

I am tired of photos, Mom!

  1. It is bad that my two favorite pics are of his chub and when he's starting to fall apart? What a cutie!
